I'm a "recovering attorney" and a transplant to CA from the "Buckeye State", who moved to Mariposa for the love of a man & because of a strong desire to live in the mountains & enjoy all that nature has to offer. My CA. professional life consists of: selling residential & commercial properties, with training Y experience in short sales; helping abused, abandoned, & neglected children as the part-time Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates for foster children, also know as "CASA of Mariposa County"; and as a Parks & Recreation Dept. water fitness instructor & stability ball teacher. Past employment has been a benefit to my real estate career; I am a skilled contract Y labor negotiator, community mediator, and management arbitration advocate; co-founded a legal publication; served as a consultant & /or trainer for the US Dept of Justice and the Ohio Lt. Governor; worked as in-house counsel for the Ohio Dept of Corrections, and chaired an interagency domestic violence response team. With what little time is left for a personal life, I enjoy travel to Washington & Arizona to see my sons at their colleges, reading, acting, hiking, swimming, skiing, (X-country & downhill), & archery. happy in Mariposa & I believe a job is not worth
